Learn More About Jared and Dakota AG Insurance

Jared grew up on his families Angus ranch in central South Dakota where he was taught the cattle business since the day he was born. Jared is the owner & founder of Dakota AG and has since grew it into one of the largest livestock insurance agencies in the United States. Jared carries close to 35 years of livestock and agriculture experience both on the producer and consumer side of the spectrum which better helps him understand his client’s needs. Jared specializes in Farm & Ranch Insurance, Trucking Insurance, Livestock Insurance, Equine Insurance and more. 

Jennifer is the lead CSR for Dakota AG and is the face of the Customer Service team. Jennifer has been in the insurance industry for four years and brings a lifetime of agriculture and livestock experience. Jennifer resides on a ranch in Sundance, WY with her husband Ty and two kids Jake and Hadlee where they operate a small cow calf operation along with Ty being the president of Sundance bank. They enjoy going to Jake and Hadlee’s rodeos all summer and continuing to operate their commercial cow calf operation!

Lashea focuses on Livestock and Farm & Ranch Insurance and is a licensed Property & Casualty producer at Dakota AG. Lashea grew up on her family ranch in Murdo South Dakota until moving to Trail City where she currently ranches with her husband, Brady. Having the life long knowledge of the ranching business helps Lashea better protect and serve her customers with great detail and understanding.

Karlee's primary focus is on Farm & Ranch, Livestock Mortality, Livestock Herd & Feedlot, Crop, Livestock Risk Protection (LRP) and Rainfall Insurance (PRF). Karlee was the 2022 North Dakota Angus Queen and will graduate from Dickenson State College in December with an AG Business degree. Karlee grew up on her families cow/calf operation in Golden Valley North Dakota where she and her family still own and run cattle today. Growing up in the agriculture industry her entire life gives Karlee the cutting edge knowledge to better understand and assist her customers wants and needs.

Vince joined the team in 2022 and is Dakota AG's Livestock Risk Protection specialist where he focuses solely on LRP and Livestock Insurance products. Vince grew up on a diversified grain and livestock farm in eastern South Dakota and successfully ran the operation until 1992 when he changed careers for health reasons. In 1992 Vince began working in the commodity brokerage business with Farmers Trading company of Mitchell, South Dakota and managed that business until January 2023 when the company was sold.
